Ioaninna

These are some souvenirs from various trips we've made to Greece. The silver incense burner on the left is from a little town called Ioaninna, and demonstrates the Turkish influence there. No-one in Ioaninna seemed to speak any English at all, so ordering food was an, umm, interesting experience. The motherly lady in the taverna where we had lunch gave me a massive hug when I gave her a good tip on the bill, and she quickly stuffed the money into her pinny with a huge smile on her face. It really made our day.

Other things here are mostly from Knossos and other historical sites around different areas of the country.
