Together again
The response to the Blip Together project has been incredible so far - it's coming together really well. With four days of blipping still to go, we already have hundreds of images from every corner of the globe.
If you haven't joined in yet, please do and ask your friends to sign up. It's easy to take part and the results are going to be something very special.
Speaking of results, keep an eye on the Blipblog on Friday for a link to the software we promised you (which is looking very, very cool, by the way).
We're just back from confirming the details of the Edinburgh event with our host, Mark (pictured). You're are all invited along and welcome to bring your friends, family (kids welcome) and even your bliptogether subjects - the more the merrier.
The event is at Inspace, 1 Crichton Street, Edinburgh, from 6-8pm this coming Saturday.
Inspace is part of the brand-new University of Edinburgh Informatics building next to Bristo Square. It's on the corner of Crichton Street and Potterrow, directly opposite the Mosque. Click here for a Google Streetview of the entrance.
Once we've all been kicked out and the doors locked, the exhibition will continue through the night, back-projected onto seven huge windows overlooking Potterrow.
(If you are planning to come along, please leave a comment below to let us know - it'd be really useful to have a rough idea of numbers beforehand.)
If you're unable to make it to our local event, we'll be broadcasting a live video feed to the web via Bambuser. We'll send a message out to everyone on Saturday with a direct link to the feed, so keep an eye on your notifications.
If you're planning an event of your own on Saturday (even if it's just a few friends around for dinner) please go and create a new thread in the Blip meet-ups forum so we all know about it. If you're willing to broadcast a live video feed via Bambuser, send us the details and we'll do our best to get it up on a big screen here in Edinburgh.
That's it - we hope to see you on Saturday, in person or online!
P.S. - Blip Of The Week will be back next week, and will include entries upload last week. Keep those suggestions coming in.
