On the Move!
This is my last day here and as usual my last shot is one snapped from the car on the way to the airport. That's two courses under my belt this visit, (and my first as Main Course Tutor here), a trip to Aswan in the week in-between courses, as well as all the little daily adventures and challenges of my 10 week stay. It felt like 10 weeks this morning as Bb and I were packing up my stuff! Luckily, I can leave a few bits and bobs in the flat....but that didn't seem to ease the bulges of our bags! All checked in now and in the airport and am crossing everything that the internet will let me get this blip published. That's our flight called now.
It's almost a year since Morsi was ousted and Sisi, the new President is now in power. What does the future hold for this young democratic Egypt? I hope it's as bright as the red on this young couple's bike and as optimistic as their smiles. Sadly, I have my doubts.
Ma salama Cairo! Until next time, Insha'Allah.
