Four spotted chaser

It was a glorious hot, sunny day today so went up to the dragonfly lochan this afternoon. There were plenty of Common Blue and Large Red Damselflies and some Four Spotted Chasers. They are pretty uncooperative and easily scared so spent quite a while chasing them and then shooting from quite a distance away. Anyway was qite pleased with this one.
Masses of Ringlets, Meadow Browns, Common Blues and Small Heath . Lovely to see them in clouds as you walk through the meadow grasses .
