VIADUCT

Walked part of the old Cinder Track Railway today, which stretches from Scarborough to Whitby. I blipped part of it here last week.

This is the Whitby end of the line and shows part of Larpool Viaduct in the sun.

It has 13 red brick spans and is 120 feet - 36.5 metres - high. What a brave Blipper to lean over so far !
The current Grosmont to Whitby railway line can be seen in the valley bottom, alongside the River Esk at low tide.
