Out and About

Kneeling Girl

In St Stephen's church yard in Tonbridge. I could not see the inscription. On the church website it says the last burial was in 1889, after which the churchyard was closed. It holds some 2,500 bodies, many of them young children who died of smallpox and other diseases common in the 19th century.

I searched for statues to practice my photography homework - portraits - having established that the men in my household were not willing to be models.
