Sharp spears
One of the advantages of looking for a Blip before going up to the house over the last couple of weeks has been the wonderful late afternoon sun, backlighting so many plants. This will end tomorrow, apparently, when we are to expect HEAVY RAIN!
Anyway, I got one last one in - this is backlit foliage of what is now Crocosmia paniculata, latterly Curtonus, I believe. Lots of lumping of names has been going on, I think.
I loved the shape of these spiky leaves against the dark background.
