New life

New life. I saw these leaves unfurling this morning and thought they were a good symbol for me today. Last ever herceptin treatment today, done 18 of these nasty toxic buggers.

Feeling drowsy, sicky and done in so going back to sleep for the night.

Tomorrow is the start of my new life post treatments. I've done 20 months of the chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy, herceptin and more surgery. It has been simply awful and traumatic for me and all my family, but I have survived and am here to tell the tale.
