Russia Dock Road SE16

The roads around here are fairly recent but their names reflect the history of the area. Timber was the main import into the docks so the docks and quays are named after the countries it came from: Russia, Finland, Baltic, Brunswick. The little closes leading off Russia Dock Road are all named after the trees which supplied the timber: Fir Trees, Mahogany, Teak, Redwood ...
