As I got into town this morning the town council events team were busy putting up flags & sorting out a PA system.
There was a military parade through the town followed by a short ceremony.
The parade was to commemorate the start of the Centenary of the start of the First World War.
Lots of people turned out, many of the local schools had brought the kids to the town centre, and they were all armed with flags!!
There was also a fly past of an Apache Helicopter from Wattisham.
