Picking before the storm!

Strawberry picking after school today - picture perfect except for those ominous storm clouds that threatened us at times! A great little PYO place - we will be back as the other fruit ripens. Love that the kids look at you with innocence when you ask if they have eaten any and they for a moment want to say "no" but realise that the strawberry juice is marking their mouths and down their clothes - sweetness!

Busy work day (as usual) - so many, many things going on and then the fruit picking and the dinner cooking and the dropping at Brownies and the grocery shopping and the picking up from Brownies and the unpacking and the...well as we all know it's exhausting!!! A pre 11pm bed for me tonight I think!
