More bucket list!

Today I started the day in Edinburgh maybe not feeling 100%. Starbucks and a bacon roll to try and sort that.

Appointment to get all my travel vaccines - apparently I was lucky to get one so quickly!! Arms now completely dead at the top on both sides - I feel a bit like a T-Rex!

SLAM trip to get supplies at Tesco and headed to Craigmillar Castle. Only a fiver to get in - totally worth it! Can climb all round it. Wonderful views over the city and the Lothians. Picnic in the grounds in the sun. This is where this pic is taken.

Went to Flotterstone reservoir which is normally one of my favourite places near Edinburgh but... It looked completely different. Like a lot of work was being done. It looked completely wrecked. I was really quite upset by this until we found a sign saying Scottish Water were working on it until September and that the water level was lowered by 5 metres. After that point it will fill back naturally to its usual height.

Finally went to homegroup. Again more lovely Nigerian cooking - very spicy! Also played Cranium which was hilarious and I got a card full of money for my trip. Completely overwhelmed at the generosity. So nice to know that they support me and will continue to pray while I'm away.

Sometimes I mess up so much and yet God keeps providing. The older I get, the less I understand grace!
