Cherry Picking

Today was cherry picking day :-)
They have been steadily ripening under the netting which we put up about a month ago. We were not going to be caught out like we were last year when the birds stripped the lot one morning :-(((


They have such a powerful fruity taste, nothing like the ones you can buy over here that have come from overseas ;-)
May make some jam or some small fruit tartlets would be nice, lots just for enjoying fresh though!
