Ancient tree stumps, Crummock Water

I've never seen the lakes as low in water as I did today, the weir at the north end of Crummock Water wasn't just dry, but the water level of the lake was about 9" down below the overflow.

As we walked around the shoreline, I spotted these old tree stumps - I've never seen them before as they are typically well below the surface of the lake.
