Yellow flowers

Sunflowers for several reasons. It's been a gloriously sunny day, my work for the university is done and dusted, good things are planned for later this week, Haagen Dazs ice cream is half price in the supermarket....all good. But mainly because they were there, it was late, and my camera was empty.

People have been very kind about the photos of Claudia and John this week, but I'm finding them a hard act to follow. I'm hesitant now about asking people, on the grounds that they are not beautifully serene enough, or don't have a wrinkly characterful face. But I've no doubt I'll be off on the prowl again soon.
