Chocolate Covered

Today was Canada Day, but after yesterday's drama, some unsettled weather and a poor night's sleep, it was a lay low with another migraine kind of day. I was grateful for the statutory holiday for a chance to take a nap and that R and C amused themselves for most of the day.

After dinner I took them to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. C enjoyed his Maui Brownie Madness frozen yoghurt very much.

As I post this, I can hear fireworks but I need to get up early tomorrow, so I unpatriotically hope they are just about done.
