Canada Day 2014 At Ganges Harbour

What a fun surprising day at Ganges Harbor on Salt Spring Island...we decided to spend another day anchored in the bay here, and I'm so glad we did. I spotted two eagle about a mile away...they were fun to watch! The day was beautiful...the light was changing constantly, the clouds came and went, more and more boats piled into the bay...OH, of course, it is Canada's National Holiday, "Canada Day"! This boat that anchored nearby were having the most fun...the kids were diving off the boat, the parents were all dressed up and having a bbq...it was quite the day for them!!

There was music, and we got to witness another moonsetting...and the day ended with an exciting display of fireworks directly overhead...we undoubtedly had the best seat in the house! What a treat!
