Totally Oblivious......

...... to the fact that Neo is sick.

I took Neo to the vets today, as he seemed to be having trouble going to the toilet. The vet said he most likely would need an operation, but they could try some injections first.

Stupidly, when she told me how much the operation was going to cost (the equivalent of 2 weeks pay) I opted for the injections. What I didn't realise was that the injections wouldn't help to unblock him at all.

By 5 pm nothing had happened so I phoned the vet back, and she suggested either the Emergency Vets ( who charge like a raging bull.) or the Animal Welfare League, who's vet clinic is supposed to stay open until 9pm.

When I rang them, they were already shut.

So now I will have to wait until morning and take him back to the vet.

I'm so upset with myself for thinking about the money and not what was best for Neo.
