Lily

The arum lily is one of the world's most widely known plants. Certainly they are wide-spread throughout New Zealand. Early settlers must have brought out lots of the bulbs because the plants are often seen at the sites of older and disused houses.
I have always been drawn to their shape.....the little twist at the end of the flower,the faint lines on the flower, the almost transparent flower.
