Historical?

This light hangs in my bedroom, and I often look up at it and wonder when embossed Greco-Roman pillars were fashionable. Our house was built vaguely 100 years ago, but it's had a few lives since then. These days it's beautifully restored and renovated, and our landlords put a lot of thought into retaining the original nature. Including these lights.

It's becoming a very busy week, although I had a reprieve from statistics today. Soon I'll get a moment to pause and work out where I left my brain, but I guess I'll just muddle along until then.
