Llama by the Lake

Dear Diary,

Yesterday it was cows by the pond; today it is a llama by the lake! (Well, at least a sculpture of a llama!) I am visiting cousins on Black Cat Island (yes, Emerson, a whole island named after you!) on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. It is hazy, hot and humid...the dreaded three H's. But it is so beautiful here and I love being surrounded by family and friends. Always lots of good food, good conversation and endless games of cards.

Ah, the lazy days of Summer...
