Boat and Skerries

This workboat is slowly making its way round from Billia Croo into Stromness Harbour. It has been out at the marine devices which are moored below the Black Craig; a variety of devices are being tested for renewal energy generation, capturing tide and wave movement.

The boat struggled into Hoy Sound against the tide flowing out of Scapa Flow. It is avoiding the skerries below Breckness and Warbeth.
