Drawing out the mural
So this morning I helped to tidy up the building site, which instantly made it look much more completed: stacking spare bricks, removing rubbish and rubble and sweeping out the room.
After lunch we started work on drawing out the mural. Being the sad maths nerd I am, I calculated exactly the space we had for each character and then measured this all out before we started drawing. It might sound stupid but I reckon it's better to spend the time doing this than start drawing and have to start over when it's either too small or too big. Working in the mid-day sun is flipping HOT so we were very glad of the shade Adelmo rigged up for us. The drawing is almost all done, so as soon as we buy the right colours of paint we can get to work!
