Ben Nevis, near Fort William

Following that bit of walking-training last weekend, we were up near Fort William this weekend for a large gathering of old friends ...

... 22 of us made it up to the top of Ben Nevis :-)

This snap shows some of the wonderful view as we descended back to the bunk-barn that was home for a couple of nights.

We've been having these annual get-togethers for nearly 30-years now ... all started back in 1986, following a stint on Operation Raleigh ... and some of the kids we now have are coming up to match the same age as when their parents all first met up 28-years ago :-)

Quite something really!
