...Farewell and adieu to you ladies of Spain
For we've received orders for to sail for old England
But we hope in a short time to see you again.

Just a glance at the atlas of the Cornish and Devon coast is enough to have me singing sea shanties! We received the key to blipper HerbSusan's caravan today and although we don't leave for over three weeks, we began planning visits to friends in the West, and thinking about food and fish suppers.

Just to get in the mood, I cooked sea bass in garlic butter and lemon. Would've been even better with a glass of dry white, but I am still trying to reduce or eliminate weeknight drinking, after falling off the wagon last week. Still not sure why I am doing this. Can't remember why I thought it was a good idea in the first place!

I took the bus to Gloucester after work, to look for climbing shoes, but failed to find any in my size, so went to Asda instead to look for ice lolly moulds! Come to think of it, why don' t they sell climbing shoes in Dunelm, and then I could just get everything in one shop?

A bit grouchy tonight because I have a headache. My fault entirely for eating (mild) Cheddar two days running! Normality will be resumed shortly.
