Great excitement today, I finally captured my first Woodpecker photo, been trying for such a long time.
After taking my daughter to school this morning I took my usual wander home along by the brook, as always armed with my camera. I heard a bird call that I didn't recognise and as it was rather loud I hoped it might be a woodpecker. I watched for a while and there he was up in the tree.
