Hawker Hunter MK1 N315

Built in the 1950's this fighter jet has been restored by Alba Power in Netherley, Aberdeenshire.

The aircraft used Rolls-Royce turbines similar to those used for power generation or gas compression, which the company overhauls and tests.

The only planes which used that specific type of engine were the Hunter, the Vulcan bomber and Concorde.
