Day off today so I headed out for a morning ride. Different experience to evening jaunts, hotter, fewer animals around, but the warmth off the grasses was palpable. Also the scent of elderflowers. Gorgeous.
Not long now till the real cyclists arrive. Hope the weather holds. A friend has posted pictures of roads outside Hawes, painted with the slogan, tis better to have cycled and lost, than never to have cycled in Yorkshire. Wise words.
