An Interesting Day
I had a day off work today and spent the day with my husband and members of our camera club, learning about and discussing issues around digital photography.
The morning was spent finding out about a digital photo imaging program (Lightroom) and in the afternoon we did some portraiture work, using one of our members as the model and some still-life.
On leaving for the event, I grabbed our still-life set-up, which comes in a portable case. When we came to set it up, I realised that (a) I forgot to pick up the backgrounds (that we keep separately to prevent creasing) and (b) any items to photograph!
No problem though, as we were able to improvise using a small blanket as the background and the organiser of the event brought some items to photograph, but forgot their portable table-top studio, so ..... after all, we were able to do some still-life photography - such team work!
This is my still-life image, from today's event.
