Anyone for cricket?

This is a small part of the Common at Redbourn which runs through the centre of the village. Here, cricket is played by young and old. Today, as there was a match, the road between Lucy's house and the village had a sign saying " beware of balls, cricket match in progress" and the white lines were painted across the road to indicate the outfield. I chose my moment to cross when they were changing ends!
