3D scanning in action

Asda is introducing 3D body scanning into some stores this autumn and today I got to try it out. I just stood for mine but this woman decided to do a headstand.

It currently takes about two minutes to create a 3D images made up of 12,000 pictures. The result will be an 8-inch-talk 3D printed figurine, usual cost £60.

Great fun experience, it's going to be wildly popular!
