Good morning Auckland

It has been a very busy and exciting few days, sorry haven't been checking out Blip.

It was the big night last night to collect my North Shore National Salon awards so drove through with good friend Tracey who also received a gold medal.
It was a great night, and felt very humbled looking at some of the amazing images in the exhibition.

We stayed with Lynn in her apartment in Newmarket and woke to this amazing sky. Thankfully the showers disappeared and the weather improved dramatically, making for a much easier trip home after a pretty grim drive up yesterday in the rain. Evidently there was a very rare snowfall on our mountain overnight, but most of it had disappeared by the time I got home.
