KINGFISHER 12

I wasnt going to put up a kingfisher today - Honest !!
this is a hen bird - I know because of its less vibrant plumage.
It has just had a regurgitation episode - I wont put that shot up as u might be having your tea! They seem to do a bit of it - well you would wouldnt you - all those crusty old crabs !!
Its coming up mating time - or at least they're thinking about it - not a lot know how birds mate ( I know its a family show but here it is) they put their vents together - they dont have any appendages - when the vents meet they exchange fluids. - hey presto. job done - lay an egg or three and sit on it for a period and lots of little ones - hope thats helpful.
