It's been a while...

...since I had the irresistable urge to go and stick my camera up close to one of the plants in the garden. But this one has been looking lovely for a while now, and it's such a glorious day here today the colours are even more vivid than usual.

A day of many hats today. Serious Ms Treasurer this morning, full-on mummy duty this afternoon - entertaining a friend of Littler G's from pre-school pick-up until the school run, then swapping for a friend of Little G's from school pick-up until after tea - rounded off by book-club stalwart / wino this evening. Each hat has something to recommend it, although it is nice to be able to swap them round a bit!

Am letting go of the #happy project... not letting go of the efforts to look for the happy things, just releasing myself from the recording of them. For now, at least.
