Lepidoptera latrinum

There is a moth residing on my loo seat; it's been there all day and is showing no sign of moving on. I can't be sure if it's dead or just asleep and I'm not very good with moths so I'm giving it a wide berth for now and using the boys' bathroom. Worryingly though, I didn't notice it when I used my bathroom first thing this morning...I hope I didn't kill it...
