Happy Birthday Daph !

Daph is 88 today & I was tempted to call this blip "Two fat ladies" but thought better of it...!!

She had lots of presents, cards & visitors & she even spoke to her cousin & best mate Joan by way of my mobile phone. They haven't spoken for 6months due to the fact that Daph has been quite poorly. Today she looked the picture of health if perhaps a little thin. I took quite a number of shots of her with her daughter Carol (my wife).

Very hot day today.

Last night was hot too & Merlot had a night out appearing at 830 when C came down to make our morning coffee.

Also last night there was a large Police presence around the town - there was even a "Bear in the Air". An escaped convict was recaptured in the Oxford Road area, but there is still another man at large..
