His majesty

Ooh isn't this the most majestic butterfly???
Purple Emperors are stunning and at Fermyn woods in Northamptonshire, very obliging!!
We had a lovely few hours in this butterfly filled woodland.

We saw lots of purple emperors, white admirals, ringlets, meadow browns, skippers and a few elusive silver-washed fritillaries.

Would highly recommend a visit on a sunny day :))
