Newgrange

Today we had a most fascinating visit to Newgrange and Knowth on the river Boyne. The whole area is very ancient over 5,000 years old!! Weather was great and really interesting guides at both sites. I learned a lot. The last time I was a Newgrange was on a school trip in the 70s!! There is an attractive themed visitor centre too. A really great day!
