Blowing Sands

This Grade II listed building with it's blue plaque has drawn my attention for some time, parking in the area is poor and it is on a busy junction. I was passing on my bike having had a ride out to Blackpool Tower and back home so I took the opportunity to stop and get a picture of the cottage and the blue plaque.

If you haven't read the plaque you might be as surprised as I was to discover that 11 times in the history of the ground under this cottage the sea shore occupied the site. Have a look at the map and see how far the cottage stands from the current shore.
