Braw wee birdie

I sat for a long time in the sun this afternoon with my friend GS outside at the cafe at Dawyck Botanic Garden - a great way to spend time. There were a few birds around - including this young male chaffinch - who knew all about crumbs either fallen or thrown. You can see a crumb in this bird's beak.
