green hand

we headed to the Seaport this morning as it's been a while since our last visit. Em made a bee-line for the children's museum where we played in the shade for some time. Breaking for lemonade we went outside to watch "Tale of a Whaler", an interactive show performed by the Seaports Talemakers. Em scored a starring role as one of the "green hands" (sailor new to whaling). Here she is with our heroine Julie, aka Julius, doing a spot of laundry whilst being 'encouraged' by a fellow crew member. Em did very well considering the energetic way the play was delivered. My little star!

Meanwhile in other news, there's a storm on the way, our return flights to the UK in mid August are booked and I'm trying not to dwell on the fact that goodbyes will happen soon.
