Evening sun in Spitalfields

Got up horribly early (6:30) this morning, to go for a blood test before work. The upside was that I was then a bit early for work, so decided to go via a different route, and took the DLR to Bank from Lewisham. A nice little journey in the summer sunshine :)

We had a 'strategy' training day at work today, which was actually really good - and we then all went bowling together in Brick Lane. Good fun, followed by a very lardy dinner, all paid for by work. Nice!

Captured this scene on my walk back to London Bridge this evening. I think this man was just waiting to cross the road, but he'd made himself very comfortable in the meantime - and the light around him was just fantastic. It was a really beautiful summery evening - and I was home by 8pm - bonus!
