Lantern

Did an afternoon trip around my garden to see what wanted photographing. Plenty of spiders and hover flies but I thought I'd find something different.

This tired looking lantern was a present a few years ago. It sits in an area of grasses and is slowly losing the battle against with the tin worm.

Tomorrow I was to have the chance to get some action shots of a tree surgeon working on some of my conifers, unfortunately he had an argument with his chainsaw and has put back the tree trim for a couple of weeks. Thinking cap needed tomorrow then...
