HMS Queen Elizabeth - revisited

There was a lot of activity in Rosyth today, in preparation for the Queen's visit. Queen Elizabeth will be naming the new aircraft carrier "HMS Queen Elizabeth". It was a glorious day today, but forecast for rain tomorrow unfortunately.

Apparently the jet on the bow is a model, we don't actually have any aircraft for this impressive new ship.

The shipbuilders have been busy since my last visit to Rosyth just three weeks ago. Had a long chat with a Naval Officer who'd been to Montivideo and visited the wreck of the Admiral Graf Spee - I was impressed.
