A GOMA moment
Anna (3) chats to her Granddad, while a random pianist plays jazz in the background. Meanwhile, out of sight in the foreground, her sister is having a nosebleed, which is why we're all halted outside Glasgow's Museum of Modern Art, outside which is a piano and the invitation to passers-by to have a tinkle. I think Anna and Granddad actually look as if they're on a stage, or perhaps contemplating a dance, in the middle of this busy city that is the utter antithesis of the places the girls had visited over the past two days.
It was this busyness, and the afternoon sun, that made me realise once again how living in a city is no longer something I can face with equanimity...
