Maybe they have to be crazy.

How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written? Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

I've been spending a lot of time working in small groups with some of the kids at school that struggle with mainstream education. As I get to know them, I am seeing their abilities, passions and talents shine through. They may not be made for sitting exams, but they are artists, singers and storytellers. I hope one day they break out of the mould they are being forced to fill and excel doing what they love.
