The Taming of the Shrew

Tonight we went to see ‘The Taming of the Shrew’ performed by the ‘Stamford Shakespeare Company’ at the at the Tolethorpe Hall open air theatre. It’s traditional to have a picnic in the grounds of the hall before the performance, and here you see our ‘Friday Night Mob’ enjoying a spread on the slope. An excellent evening was had by all.

OK - I know it's not Friday, but we decided to go on a Thursday this year as going on a Friday seriously interferes with the drinking the social evening at the Bull.
