Local lychees

The lychees are blooming in the area. Our trees had none this year, but the farmers market down the way had some from a local source. These are such a pretty fruit with a wonderful fragrant flesh that has a unique flavor. They are the prettiest trees. We always enjoy them, even out of bloom, and when the fruit ripens, the are awesome. They only stay on the tree for a few days and then the squirrels will strip them, if you do not get them.
