I can read!

The cute evil minion has been working on her pre-reading skills for quite some time now. I tried to encourage her to try reading some simple books at home, but something's missing and she just doesn't seem to be able to, or want to read on her own.

Today we discovered a box set of first readers that are filled with simple words she can handle. She got super excited about reading by herself that I think she finished the whole box set in one sitting.

I'm hopeful that this is a healthy, happy beginning of her lifelong friendship with books.
