Match Point - Eugenie Bouchard

It was a long day yesterday. Two hours from home to Wimbledon Centre Court. Four matches, two of which were the ladies semi-finals and two mixed doubles matches. The Safarova/Kvitova match was a bit flat but then Halep/Bouchard made up for it, and the doubles matches were good to see. Back home by 10.30 p.m.

We were also able to keep an eye on the Royal box from where we were sitting like mushrooms in a forest but never catching the sun. Someone did faint and stop proceedings for a while, so hope they were ok but it did look hot in the sun. The temperature was good in the shade and we were grateful for that.

So, we saw Cliff Richard and Cilla Black (together), Colin Firth, Miranda Hart, Paul Daniels, Michael and Mary Parkinson. There are a few I haven't put names to yet/

So here you have Eugenie Bouchard at match point.
